The BEST chicken salad I've had. I really like Norimaki sushi because they taste like the authentic Japanese sushi I used to eat as a kid.
This place is kind of interesting because it's really small and can't really tell if it's opened or not from outside because the windows are tinted and can't really see inside. The open sign is not really visible from the parking lot unless you get closer because it's on the bottom. But , it seems to be always crowded! And such diverse customers. During lunch time it's packed with long line. Even at 2 pm it still was pretty crowded. Seems there are a lot of " regulars " that come here.
Overall , I really like this place a lot because it's comfortable to sit and eat even when you are by yourself because it's a self serve style.

Not too impressed with this place...
There famous chicken salad is pretty good but the chicken is a little sketch.
Cheap food on top of cheap plastic Styrofoam plates that you use at BBQ's.
The staff is not friendly.
They only accept cash which makes you wonder why... (why do people get paid under the table? hmm..) -

My friend from work offered to get me lunch one day and she got me this! Fast forward and I've had the Spicy Beef Donburi Bowl from here a handful of times now and it never disappoints. You get a good amount of rice as well as the beef. I've never not been full after eating one of these. Don't let the 'spicy' scare you away either if you're not too tolerant of spice-- it's really not that spicy. Not spicy at all to be honest (for me at least) but it adds a good flavor to it. They also throw in a few veggies overtop. They give you teriyaki sauce on the side with it I believe... just put your preferred amount of course. I never use the whole thing... It's pretty flavorful as it is.
This is the only thing I've tried here so far but I've heard good things about other items (their salad) that I will definitely try out in the near future. I haven't dined-in yet so I can't comment on service in the actual restaurant but I've never had an issue with take-out.
*Just a warning for you card users like myself-- only reason this place doesn't have 5 stars from me is because they are CASH ONLY and that is a huge inconvenience most of the time for me because I hardly ever carry cash. We order this for lunch sometimes so luckily I have coworkers who carry cash and I can just Venmo them and we all win! Other than that.... try it!! -

Get here early if you want to avoid a line. They are super quick if you order half to full chicken salad. This is their specialty. I love it! Spicy beef bowl is good too. You can order extra chicken for your salad if you need more protein. Closed on weekends now.

Ive been coming to this place since Jr high and will never stop. Best Japanese fast food in town! Located on First & Nees in the corner next to the school. Between the pizza and the dry cleaners. Parking lot is pretty big, can get busy but never to much of an issue.
My favorites: Chinese chicken salad (no cilantro), vegetable tempura (love the yams), and the spicy beef bowl. Oh and they have the boujee ice (little kernels of crushed heaven).
Cons: cash or check only... so if your like me and you have neither of those one hand you will need to hit up the bank or atm first. They also close kinda early so check yelp for the hours before heading over.
